The Skoda Enyaq vRS is a high-performance version of the automaker's first all-electric vehicle, and it is turning heads with its sporty design and impressive range. Recently, I had the opportunity to photograph the Enyaq vRS in the stunning landscape of Scotland using my Canon R5 and DJI Mavic Pro 2.
The Enyaq vRS is powered by a high-capacity lithium-ion battery that allows for a range of up to 342 miles on a single charge. It also features a powerful electric motor that delivers impressive acceleration and handling. The exterior design of the vRS is aggressive, with a sporty body kit, larger wheels, and a blacked-out grille and trim.
Inside, the Enyaq vRS is equally impressive, with a spacious and comfortable cabin that is filled with premium materials and the latest technology. The car features a large infotainment screen, wireless charging, and a range of advanced driver assistance systems, making it a joy to drive.
Overall, the Skoda Enyaq vRS is a high-performance electric vehicle that combines style, performance, and sustainability in a single package. I was honored to have the opportunity to photograph it in such a beautiful location, and hopefully these images will showcase the Enyaq vRS's true beauty and appeal.

Porsche 911 993 Turbo Automotive Photography in Scotland.
Car photography is something that has always captured my imagination and there's nothing quite like photographing a dream car. For me that dream car has always been the iconic Porsche 911 Turbo. It wasn't a car that I decided to like in my 20s or 30s - I was obsessed with it as soon as I saw it in 1994. My obsession was such that my mum had to buy me nearly every printed book with a 993 on the cover which I still have as well as scale models.
Unfortunately as much as I've dreamt about owning one the 911 Turbo is now a rare and expensive dream that's out of my reach. However I'm lucky enough to know someone who owns my ultimate spec 911 Turbo finished in Schwarz Black. That person is G from Outlander Vehicles a company that specialises in individual Defenders.
As soon as G's 911 Turbo came back to Scotland I knew that I had to photograph it. The 993 generation of the 911 Turbo represents the pinnacle of the car's design and performance and I couldn't pass up the opportunity to capture its essence and appeal in my photography.
One of the things that makes the 911 Turbo so special is its powerful engine distinctive styling and excellent handling. Over the years Porsche has continued to refine and improve the Turbo making it one of the most sought-after sports cars in the world. And for me the 993 Turbo holds a special place in my heart.
Photographing G's 911 Turbo was a dream come true. The car's sleek lines and aggressive stance made it a joy to shoot and I was able to capture some truly stunning images that showcase the Turbo's beauty and power. It was a challenge to do justice to the car in my photography but I'm proud of the results.
The goal is to capture the essence and appeal of a car in a single image and that's no easy feat. But when you're photographing a dream car like the 911 Turbo the challenge becomes even greater. Every detail every angle and every reflection has to be just right to do justice to the car's beauty and power. I ended up using a mixture of lighting for this shoot to make it slightly more interesting.

2023 BMW M3 Competition Touring at Knockhill Race Circuit.
Recently I had the opportunity to photograph the latest addition to the BMW M family the all-new BMW M3 Touring at the legendary Knockhill Race Circuit. To make the shoot even more special we included previous generation M3s - the E36, E90, and F80 - in the frame creating a beautiful contrast between the past and present. Big thanks to Omar for sourcing all the previous gen models for the shoot!
The M3 Touring striking exterior and an aggressive stance was accentuated by the stunning backdrop of Knockhill. The powerful engine producing an impressive 510 horsepower allowed us to capture the car in motion showcasing its dynamic capabilities…
Compared to its predecessors the M3 Touring's design reflects the evolution of BMW's iconic M series while still paying homage to its heritage. The E36, E90, and F80 M3 models provided a great contrast showcasing the evolution of the M3 over the years.
As a car photographer I was over the moon to capture these legendary vehicles in one frame. The result is a collection of stunning images that any car enthusiast would love to see (I hope!!). If you're a fan of BMW M series this photoshoot is not to be missed.
Big thanks to Gordon Shedden for doing the dynamic driving for the video.

Nissan X Trail Photographed in Aberdeen 2023.
As a car photographer and the owner of Kabizzz, I was thrilled when I had the opportunity to photograph the brand-new 2023 Nissan X-Trail in the picturesque city of Aberdeen for work. This versatile and advanced vehicle presented the perfect subject for me on the day, and I was determined to create a set of images that would truly showcase the dynamic look of the X-Trail.
To achieve this, I knew that I needed the right equipment. I decided to use my trusty Canon R5 camera and a DJI drone to capture the X-Trail from every angle. The Canon R5, with its 45-megapixel full-frame sensor, allowed me to capture every detail of the X-Trail's exterior. The camera's advanced autofocus system also ensured that every shot was sharp and in focus. But what really set my photos apart was the use of the DJI drone.
The drone allowed me to capture unique aerial perspectives of the X-Trail, showing off its sleek design and advanced technology. I was able to capture images of the X-Trail parked on a peer overlooking the North Sea in Aberdeen. I also used the drone to capture panoramic shots of the X-Trail parked in front of the beautiful Scottish landscapes, showcasing the contrast between the modern vehicle and the natural beauty of the area.
In addition to the drone, I also used a variety of other techniques to capture the X-Trail in the best light possible. I experimented with different shutter speeds, apertures and ISO settings to create a range of images with different moods and atmospheres. I also used reflectors and diffusers to control the lighting and create a sense of depth and dimension in the photos.
One of the most challenging aspects of the photoshoot was capturing the interior of the X-Trail. I wanted to show off the advanced technology and comfortable design of the vehicle, but it can be difficult to get the right lighting and angles in such a confined space. I used a combination of natural light and artificial light sources to create the perfect balance, and I was pleased with the results.
Overall, I am happy with the final set of images I captured of the new Nissan X-Trail. They showcase the beauty and power of the vehicle, and they highlight the unique perspectives and techniques that I used as a car photographer. I hope that these images will inspire other car enthusiasts and photographers, and I look forward to my next opportunity to capture a vehicle in such an incredible way.
I believe that car photography is an art form that requires both technical skill and creative vision. It’s a great way to showcase the beauty of cars and the art of photography, and I am always seeking new ways to improve my skills and push the boundaries of what is possible.

Audi R8 V10 Car Photography in Aberdeen 2023.
The Audi R8 V10 is a truly stunning vehicle with lovely lines and a powerful engine that can take you from 0 to 60 mph in just over three seconds. As a car photographer I wanted to capture all the beauty and power of this fabulous machine in every shot.
I chose a beautiful location for the shoot that would highlight the Audi R8 V10's design and performance capabilities. The image captured the vehicle in motion with the wind rushing past and the sun shining down highlighting the vehicle's aerodynamic design and powerful engine.
In every shot I aimed to highlight the Audi R8 V10's stunning details from the lines of the body to the precision of the headlights. Each detail is a testament to the precision engineering and design that has gone into this incredible machine.
In post-production I carefully selected the best shots to showcase on my website. Each image tells a story and captures a moment in time showcasing the Audi R8 V10's power and beauty in a way that only photography can.

2023 Volkswagen ID Buzz Photographed in Scottish Highlands.
The Volkswagen ID Buzz is a revolutionary electric van that has recently won the What Car? ‘Car of The Year’ award for 2023, and I had the privilege of capturing its sleek and innovative design through my lens. As a car photographer, I am always on the lookout for new and exciting vehicles to photograph, and the ID Buzz certainly did not disappoint.
The ID Buzz has a retro design that pays homage to the classic VW campervan, but with a modern twist. The van's exterior is sleek and aerodynamic, with clean lines and a minimalist aesthetic. The van's all-electric powertrain is a standout feature, and it is paired with an advanced infotainment system that offers a range of up to 342 miles on a single charge.
I had the opportunity to photograph the ID Buzz in the beautiful Scottish Highlands, where the van's capabilities were put to the test on the winding roads and steep hills. The ID Buzz performed admirably, with its instant torque and responsive handling making it a joy to drive. The panoramic sunroof provided stunning views of the landscapes, and I was able to capture some truly breathtaking shots of the van in its natural environment.
The interior of the ID Buzz is just as impressive as the exterior. The spacious cabin is designed to be comfortable and functional, with ample storage and a modern infotainment system. The seats are comfortable and supportive, and the overall design is clean and uncluttered. I was able to capture the interior of the ID Buzz in great detail, highlighting the van's high-quality materials and craftsmanship.
One of the standout features of the ID Buzz is its advanced infotainment system. The system is intuitive and easy to use, with a large touchscreen display that provides access to a wide range of features, including navigation, music, and climate control. The system is also compatible with both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, making it easy to connect your smartphone and access your favourite apps.
As a car photographer, it is always exciting to photograph new and innovative vehicles like the Volkswagen ID Buzz. The van's retro design, advanced technology, and all-electric powertrain make it a truly unique and interesting subject. The ID Buzz's win of the "What Car - Car of The Year" award for 2023 further solidifies its status as a top choice in the EV market. The Scottish Highlands provided the perfect backdrop for capturing the ID Buzz's capabilities and beauty, and I am thrilled with the results of my photography. I highly recommend the Volkswagen ID Buzz for anyone looking for a unique and high-performing EV vehicle.

Porsche 911 Targa 4S Heritage Design Edition Automotive Photography in Scotland.
Performance, safety, freedom. Three things that the Targa has embodied from the outset. Originally developed as a safety cabriolet, the importance of its unique roof design went way beyond mere functionality. It turned the 911 Targa – just like the 911 Coupé – into an icon. And still lends it its distinctive appearance. Like a unique signature. In the 911 Targa 4S Heritage Design Edition, this iconic concept has been further developed according to the rules of modern technology. The roll-over bar invokes the traditional shape. And the fabric hood, with fully automatic opening and closing, meets all of today’s safety and comfort requirements. Featuring historically inspired details, the 911 Targa 4S Heritage Design Edition from Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur is limited to 992 units worldwide. Finally, after a couple of years of trying, I managed to successfully track a moving car with a drone!
The 718 Cayman lets its actions do the talking. Sporty actions, of course. As a corner-devouring Coupé, it follows a line of its own far removed from fashion trends and four-lane arterials. In the city certainly. On the race track definitely. And always for the sport of it. It’s no wonder that the 718 Cayman doesn’t simply carry on from where the 718 GTR Coupé left off in 1963 but seeks instead to piece together a legend of its own. With its own mind. With sporty fighting spirit. And with every twist and turn. - Porsche.com

Recalling the Legendary Datsun 240Z – Specs & Features
Some sports cars from the past have always received special attention from car lovers, and to date, this stands true for the Datsun 240Z. Originally named as Nissan S30, Datsun 240Z belongs to the first generation of Nissan’s iconic Z GT series of two-seat coupes. Last year, this fabulous sports car from the 60s marked its 50 years' marvelous history as one of the successful sports cars by Nissan_ continued from 1969 to 1978.
Initially, Nissan’s Z car got famous in Japan only, but later with the coming of 240Z, it made its way to UK and US markets. With its sleek body styling, impressive power and modern designing of that era, this car won the hearts of racing enthusiasts. And its low price was the icing on the cake for the public to see it as their favorite car.
Datsun 240Z History
Yutaka Katayama who was president of Nissan Motors USA was the person who introduced 240Z in 1970. The mission behind this was to fill the market gap for small sports cars inspired by British manufactured 1500 Fairlady roadster that was considered a success.
Later on, Nissan manufactured its own 240Z called as S30 Fairlady Z in America. When released in the market, it was sold at a starting price of $3526 in 1969 – a very much fair price at that time.
Datsun 240Z specs
Datsun 240Z – the three-door hatchback coupe is a front-engine, rear-wheel-drive car. It has a sleek and stylish coupe body with round-shaped headlights. Under its hood, there is anL20 2.0-litre straight-six SOHC engine that churns out 130 hp (96 kW) combined with a five-speed manual transmission.

Rational. Irrational. Sanity. Insanity. Perfect. Perfectly crazy. The difference is sometimes extremely subtle. And sometimes it is as sharp as a razor. The new 718 Cayman GT4 is the perfect sports car for those who like to push the limits. For those who would rather ask ‘why not?’ than ‘why?’. For those who take fun seriously and who would rather sit in a sports seat than a leather armchair. For those people, we have fitted the new 718 Cayman GT4 with everything which makes your pulse race. 4.0-litre six-cylinder horizontally opposed and naturally aspirated engine with 420PS, manual transmission, rear wing. With a diffuser which demands respect, and extremely output oriented aerodynamics. GT3 technology for the chassis and the interior – motorsport genes. The result is a brutal driving machine which has never even heard of autonomous driving. Perfect? Perhaps. Irrational? Probably. The truth – like the engine – is in the middle. But in this case, this middle is not a compromise, it’s razor sharp. The new 718 Cayman GT4. Perfectly irrational

Porsche 911 GT3 RS Automotive Photography in Scotland for Porsche Centre Aberdeen..
Many have still never heard of it. Some believe it’s all just a myth. For the true fan, though, behind the idyllic green hills of the Swabian region in Germany the promised land does exist: Flacht. The home of Porsche Motorsport. Our home. The place in which the Porsche heart beats the fastest. Where the transfer from motorsport into series production is routine daily practice. Where the proving ground is our playground. And precision is our greatest passion. Here, in Flacht, is where the new 911 GT3 turned its first laps. Here is where the mighty sound of its 4.0-litre horizontally opposed and naturally aspirated engine roared for the first time. Here is where the chassis was tuned over the course of countless test kilometres with the meticulous scrutiny only otherwise afforded to the Porsche 919 Hybrid for Le Mans.
Our engineers invested all their racing experience into it, tweaking and honing into the night. Afterwards, they would all say: “It couldn’t get any better.” Only to ask themselves the next morning: “Could we not make it even better?” A hundredth of a second faster, a percentage point more agile, a gramme lighter? Then – and only then – could we award the highest distinction there is at Porsche: Born in Flacht. The new 911 GT3.
