The Race Against Dementia event at Balmoral Hotel in Edinburgh. I used my two trusty Canon R5s with the rf-24-70 and ef70-300 for this event. Among the distinguished guests were Zara Tindall MBE OLY and Mike Tindall MBE, adding a touch of royal elegance to the evening. The gathering also included the insights of motorsport journalist Lee McKenzie, Professor Tara Spires-Jones, and Dr. Claire Durrant – all renowned figures in their respective fields.
In support of Race Against Dementia, I had the honour of photographing the annual JCMG Charity Golf Day at The Dukes Course, St Andrews, followed by a memorable Sports Dinner at the Old Course Hotel. The event brought together notable sporting personalities, including Mark Stewart, Gordon Strachan OBE, Dougie Donnelly, Mark Beaumont BEM, Rory Lawson, Ellie Gower, Natasha Philips & Kirsty Muir. The evening was highlighted by a lively Q&A session with Tim Harvey, ex-British Car Racing driver and ITV Sports presenter. It was a privilege to document such an incredible day and evening dedicated to a meaningful cause.

Relive the electric adventure of EcoRally Scotland 2023 as we journey back to Sunday, June 11th, when teams of two, armed with electric vehicles, navigated a 100-mile road route through the enchanting Scottish Borders countryside. Breakfast at Thirlestane Castle set the stage for a day filled with scenic beauty and a unique competitive challenge.
Participants were equipped with maps and clues in the morning, initiating a day of orienteering in electric vehicles. The road was dotted with checkpoints, each team tasked with recording their passage within a designated timeframe to validate their adherence to the prescribed route. Along the way, 'regularity tests' added an extra layer of complexity, requiring teams to navigate specified road sections at precise average speeds, meticulously monitored by marshals.
In EcoRally Scotland 2023, speed took a back seat to precision navigating, problem-solving, and teamwork. The objective was clear: complete the route correctly by recording checkpoints at the right times and mastering regularity tests with precision. Join us in revisiting the images captured during this eco-friendly escapade, where the Scottish landscape provided the backdrop to a day of strategic challenges and collaborative triumphs.

Finishing 9th overall, Chloe has said: “This year has been an experience that I'm not sure I have the words for! Amazing to say the least. It's flown by for sure. Today I'm back on the sim as we have less than a month before hitting the track in Maranello for the Girls on Track Final with the FIA and Motorsport UK.”

Every May Stirling council hold an event in Strathallan Games Park where Classic Car Club owners from BMW, Mercedes, Porsche, Jaguar, Ford, Vauxhall, Land Rover, Volkswagen and more meet up to showcase their pride and joy’s. The event usually attracts around 600 cars, plus has children’s’ entertainment, trade stands and it’s all for raising money for charity.
